Remove Reflections

Standard

While filming there are mistakes caused by distraction that can mess up a whole scene. Usually we find them while editing the film, some times we find them immediately, but we can’t (or we don’t feel like to) reshoot the scene, so they say “we will fix it in post” (usually who will not “fix it”).
In this video we will see how we can remove a reflection from a window, a mirror or another reflective surface and replace it with something better, we’ll see the Adobe After Effects resources that we can use and how to act with a still object, a moving subject and when the camera is moving.

This is only a small tutorial on how to remove a reflection from a video, after the first time that you remove a reflection we’re sure that you’ll learn to avoid windows while shooting.
